Grafton High to Start Parent Group

A meeting is scheduled to begin the process.

Principal James Pignataro and the community are looking to establish a parent support group for the school.

This would create more opportunities for parents, similar to the PTG at the lower grades.

Pignataro said the group would work with the high school administration to help organize or support events and programs for faculty, staff, students and parents at Grafton High School.

Unlike the PTG's at the other schools, this group would not be responsible for fund-raising.

A meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. April 12 at the high school media center to discuss the role of the group  and establish a name for it.

After that, parents would be sought to take on a leadership role.
