Grafton Man Charged in Double Fatal Crash
He faces two counts of motor vehicle homicide among other charges.

A Grafton man is being held on $20,000 bail in his hospital room after being charged with a Worcester crash that killed two people.
Robert J. Curran III, 22, of 33 Buttercup Lane, Grafton, was charged with two counts of motor vehicle homicide and other charges in connection with the crash, which happened at at 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, according to a spokesman from District Attorney Joseph Early's office.
He is scheduled to be back before a judge Nov. 8, likely at Worcester District Court if he is released from the hospital by then.

Curran was driving on Chandler Street toward downtown Worcester when the Acura his was driving crashed into an Acura driven by Andres Guzman, 18, of Worcester as it exited Piedmont Street, the spokesman said.
He was traveling at a high rate of speed, the spokesman said.

The accident happened in a T-bone fashion, with the front of one vehicle striking the side of the other.
Guzman and a passenger, Joel Rodriguez, were killed.
Curran is being hospitalized at the same hospital. He was arraigned at his bedside.
