students walked around in circles Thursday, Sept. 29, but it wasn’t a wasted trip.
The youngsters participated in the annual walk-a-thon, a major fund-raiser for the school. People donated flat fees or a specific amount per laps walked by the youngsters.
Last year’s event raised $7,000 for school enrichment programs.
