Man Suffers Serious Injuries After Pedestrian Accident On Grafton
Police found a man in the road who had been struck by a Jeep.

GRAFTON, MA—Investigators are piecing together a pedestrian accident that happened on July 31 on Grafton Street.
Around 9:30 p.m., police headed to 725 Grafton St. where a person had just been hit. Officers located the pedestrian in the road, and the Jeep that struck him. The male appeared to have serious injuries, and was given medical treatment. He was transported by ambulance to the hospital. Grafton Street was shut down and the Crash Reconstruction Unit responded to investigate.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the collision occurred in the northbound lane of Grafton St. The operator of the Jeep did not see the victim in the road, and struck him. The victim has serious injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening. The crash is under investigation by the Crash Reconstruction Unit.
