School Committee members offered a warn welcome tonight to Joanne Stocklin, the new principal.
 Superintendent of Schools Jay Cummings said Stocklin came highly recommended and said she has “more than lived up to her billing.’’
 Stocklin said she is an instructor at heart. “I am humble enough to realize that the most important work in the school happens outside my office,’’ she said.

She said she has been looking forward going into work every day and thanked the parents for having “terrific kids.’’
