Read for the Record, Oct. 3 at 10:30 a.m. & 6:30 p.m.Β The Grafton Library Children's Room is proud to announce our second year of Reading for the Record! Join us for a special story time featuring this year's book, Otis, by Loren Long. We'll add the number of folks who join us to a worldwide total - last year more than 2 million people shared the same book on the same day! The library will help keep the fun and learning going with a special craft activity for families to take home and do together. No registration is required for this program; just drop in!
First Friday: Music with Mr. Kim, Oct. 4th at 10:30.Β Join us for a musical morning with our friend Mr. Kim Webster from Apple Tree Arts! We'll share some songs and some simple movement activities. Please call the library at 508-839-4649 to register for this program as space is limited.Β This program will happen the first Friday of every month, October through May, with the exception of January.Β

Drop-In Crafts, Oct. 9th & Oct. 24th from 3:30-5 p.m.Β Drop in after school from 3:30 to 5 p.m. for a simple craft activity. On Wednesday the 9th, bring along your furry friend as we celebrate Bring Your Teddy Bear to School and Work Day with a fun bear craft. On the 24th, weβll share a slightly spooky craft as we mark Bat Appreciation Day β after all, they eat mosquitoes!
Calling all young collectors! The Childrenβs Room would like to hear from any of our young collectors out there! Our young patrons are invited to share their collection by displaying them in the Childrenβs Room display case for up to two weeks.Β Advance registrations are required.
