Monday Essentials: 'Minute by Minute' is Coming Next Week

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your week in Grafton.

It's Monday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Grafton to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. 'Minute by Minute' is coming next week.

"Grafton Minute by Minute," a monthly 30-minute program featuring Grafton community events, debuts on Grafton Community Television next Monday, Aug. 5,  GCTV said Sunday in a press release.

GCTV Lead Access Assistant Bob DeToma will host the show, which will feature footage by Access Assistants Rick Schultze and Bill Robidoux.

The show will air on Charter Communications Channel 11 and Verizon Cable Channel 34.

It will air on GCTV on this schedule next week: 1:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Monday; 8 p.m. Tuesday; 1 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; and 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

2. Meet State Sen. Michael Moore.

State Sen. Michael Moore (D-Millbury) holds office hours at 9 a.m. Monday in the Grafton Senior Center.

3. Catch a concert.

5 on Friday performs the latest in this year's Grafton Concerts on the Common series at 7 p.m. Wednesday on the Grafton Common.

4. Taste a book -- without eating it.

The Grafton Public Library holds a Book Tasting at 3 p.m. Monday.

"Sample and 'taste' from a variety of book genres to find new books to read. You may find your new favorite book," according to the library's website.

5. Meet Bad Kitty.

Bad Kitty will visit the Grafton Public Library from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. Wednesday.
