'Multiple Brush Fires' Near Railroad Tracks

Heat on the tracks caused by a passing train reportedly caused several brush fires along the tracks on Old Upton Road, according to scanner reports.

Grafton Fire was requesting mutual aid after noon Monday, when the fires were reported.

There were several brush fires throughout the region over the weekend; dry conditions continue to place towns at risk for such fires.
