A search is under way for a new principal at following a series of changes announced today by Superintendent of Schools James Cummings.
These changes include Michelle Tynan, current principal at , concluding her tenure as principal and returning to the classroom.
As a result of Tynan's move back to the classroom, Brenda Plainte, current principal at Grafton Elementary School, will be moving to North Grafton Elementary School to take over as principal.

These two moves will lead to the creation of a search process for a
new principal at Grafton Elementary School.
This position will be advertised immediately and the search process will include the creation of an interview committee made up of representative parents and staff.

The planned appointment date for this position will be in mid-August.
"I am confident that we will be able to find an exceptional
leader who will be able to work collaboratively to further the growth
of all students at Grafton Elementary School,'' Cummings said in a prepared statement.
