A Pleasant Street resident has been designated a level 3 sex offender by the Sex Offender Registry Board, Chief Normand A. Crepeau Jr. has announced.
Roger Lee Edmonds, 59, lives at 189 Pleasant St., Grafton and works at 4 Industrial Rd., Unit 8-10, Milford.
He was convicted of two counts of indecent assault and battery on a child younger than 14 on Aug. 24, 2011. He was convicted on three counts of the same charge May 18, 1983.

Level 3 sex offenders have a high risk to reoffend, according to the Sex Offender Registry Board, which makes the determination.
The community is notified because of the degree of dangerousness the individual poses to the public, according to the Sex Offender Registry Board.
