
Parking spaces will decrease and change in configuration while a handicapped ramp is built at 1 Grafton Common.
Spaces will decrease from eight to four and the current head-in parking will change to parallel parking, selectmen were informed tonight. This change could take effect as early as late June, Town Administrator Timothy McInerney said.
The changes are part of Apple Tree Arts' ongoing effort to renovate the building, which is owned by the town but leased to the nonprofit arts organization for a nominal fee.

Apple Tree Arts has agreed to renovate and restore the building, which had fallen into disrepair. They plan to use the upper floor for performances and town functions.
"Hopefully, this is the start of a lot of things,'' selectmen chairman Brook Padgett said.
