Police Log: Fourth OUI Charged

The following information was supplied by the Grafton police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Here are excerpts from the  log. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests; other than that, we pick out incidents you might find interesting.

On Friday, April 20, police:

Received a report of wires down at 8:15 a.m. on Providence Road.

Received a report of a suspicious person at 8:37 p.m. on Milford Road and Bay Farm Lane. Charges resulted.

Andrew K. Hardiman, 43, of 25 Daffodil Ct., Grafton, was charged with OUI liquor fourth offense and failure to drive in the right lane.

On Saturday, April 21, police:

Made a motor vehicle stop at 2:23 a.m. at Worcester Street and Providence Road that led to charges.

Michael C. Alicandro, 38, of 144 Pilgrim Ave., Worcester, was charged with OUI liquor third offense, possession of an open container of alcohol, speeding and failing to yield.

Received a report of illegal burning at 3:43 p.m. on Wesson Road.

Charged a town resident at 4:40 p.m. on Leland Street.

Charles Gould, 40, of 16 Church St. #A, Grafton, was charged with violating an abuse prevention order.

Responded to a neighborhood disturbance at 8:21 p.m. on Providence Road.

 On Sunday, April 22, police:

 Responded to vandalism at 2:51 a.m. on Pleasant Street.

Received reports of threatening at 5:24 p.m. on Providence Road.
