Police Log: Lots of Fireworks, Two Arrests

Police also monitor traffic and seek erratic drivers.

On Friday, July 1, police:

Received a complaint about a disorderly person at 1:31 p.m. on Worcester Street.

Responded to reports of erratic driving at 3:51 p.m. on Upton Street.

Received a complaint about fireworks at 8:46 p.m. on Stockwell Farm Road.

On Saturday, July 2, police:

Responded to a disturbance/loud noise at 10:42 a.m. on Cross Street.

Received complaints about fireworks at the following times and places: 9:34 p.m., Sunrise Avenue, 9:35 p.m., Tracy Ann Drive, 10:23 p.m., Upton Street, 10:31 p.m, Pigeon Hill Drive.

On Saturday, July 3, police:

Monitored traffic at 9:45 a.m. on Depot Street.

Responded to reports of a disorderly person at 8:29 p.m. on Worcester Street.  An arrest resulted.

James A. Fitton, 25, of 106 Worcester St., Grafton, was charged with two counts of assault and battery on a police officer.

On Monday, July 4, police:

Responded to a pedestrian accident at 9:56 a.m. on Providence Road. An arrest resulted.

Sarah Lyn Drew, 22, of  317 Providence Road, Grafton, was charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, marked lanes violation and impeded operation.

Received complaints about trespassing at 3:15 p.m. on Creeper Hill Road.

Responded to reports of fireworks at 9:10 p.m. on Fitzpatrick Road.
