Police Log: OUI Arrest Made

The following information was supplied by the Grafton police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Here are excerpts from the  log. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests; other than that, we pick out incidents you might find interesting. 

On Friday, Sept. 30 police:

Made a motor vehicle stop with a verbal warning at 3:53 p.m. on Brigham Hill Road.

Received reports of a disorderly person at 4:25 p.m. on Pleasant Street.

Received reports of a suspicious auto at 6:25 p.m. on Providence Road.

This resulted in an arrest.

Michael J. Richards, 63, of 384 Sunderland Road, Worcester, was charged with OUI liquor, marked lanes violation and having no license in possession.

Responded to reports of an erratic driver at 11:54 p.m. on Worcester Street.

On Saturday, Oct. 1, police:

Made a motor vehicle stop with citation at 1:11 a.m. on Upton Street and Pigeon Hill Road.

Received a request for frequent patrols at 9:08 a.m. on Gordon Circle.

Received a report of loud noise/disturbance at 5:08 p.m. on Janet Circle.

Responded to reports of an erratic driver at 7:36 p.m. on Worcester Street.

 

 

Had radar assignments at 1:42 p.m. on Hudson Avenue and at 2:06 p.m. on Brigham Hill and Potter Hill roads.

Responded to a family disturbance at 7:32 p.m. on Magill Drive.

 

On Friday, Sept. 30, police:

Made a motor vehicle stop at 2:31 a.m. on Worcester and Oak streets.

This resulted in charges filed against Kenneth L. Daoust, 49, of 26B George Hill Road, Grafton. He will be charged with operating a motor vehicle after revocation of registration and driving an uninsured motor vehicle.
