UPDATED: Amber Alert Issued

UPDATED: Massachusetts State Police have removed the black 2003 Ford Mustang from the Amber Alert. The Amber Alert remains active for Matthew Slocum, Loretta Colegrove and Raymond Slocum. Anyone who has information on their whereabouts should call 911.

UPDATED: An Amber Alert has been issued for a mother and child who may be traveling against their will with a man wanted for questioning in a New York murder.

Suspect Matthew Slocum, 23, is wanted for questioning regarding a homicide that happened early this morning in New York, State Police said.

Police believe Slocum is traveling with his girlfriend, Loretta Colegrove, 25, and their child, Raymond Slocum, 4 months old. Matthew Slocum may be armed.

Matthew Slocum is about 5’11’ to 6’ tall, weighs 195 pounds and has brown hair. He is believed to have swastika tattoos on his forearms.

Loretta Colegrove is about 5’9” tall,  194 lbs., with long straight reddish brown hair, typically worn pulled back with a white or light blue scrunchie. She was last seen wearing a light blue tank top with thin straps, blue jean shorts and flip flops

They may be travelling in a black 2003 Ford Mustang, with two doors, and bearing NY registration DED1769.

Reports indicate that Slocum may be holding the woman and their child against their will. 

Police say they were travelling on North Street in Adams, Mass. at about 5 a.m. this morning.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call 911.
