Scouts are Hooked on Fishing

Grafton Scouts report a successful catch at the fishing derby.

Scouts from all three Cub Scout Packs in Grafton: Pack 106 (Cubmaster Chris Paquin), Pack 107 (Cubmaster Ed King) and Pack 112 (Cubmaster Bob Nault) were out in force Saturday, Oct. 8 at the Hassanamisco District Cub Scout Fishing Derby held at the Auburn Sportsman's Club.

It was a gorgeous fall day, and the boys pulled in a nice haul of fish ranging from the usual sunfish and bluegills all the way up to a 15.5" rainbow trout. Perch, largemouth bass, pickerel, and catfish were also abundant.

All of the boys who participated in the event got a patch as well as a nice lunch while the award winners were announced.
