The case was continued to May 11.

The uttering charge came after Grafton Auto Sales owner Michael Awde reported to police that the bill Addeo attempted to pass  was phony. Responding officer Robert Collette said in court records that both he and Awde could tell the bill was "definitely counterfeit.''
Addeo is currently being held at the Worcester County House of Correction in West Boylston after being extradited from Maine.

Addeo was captured in Augusta, Maine March 16, several days after allegedly cutting off his GPS monitoring bracelet in Tewksbury.Â
Wearing the monitoring bracelet was one of the requirements of his parole. He was released on lifetime community parole April 29, 2010 after pleading guilty to a number of charges.
These charges included four counts of statutory rape of a child, three counts of indecent assault and battery of a child under 14 and indecent assault and battery of a person over 14,according to Timothy J. Connolly, spokesman for the Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early.
He pled guilty but was not sentenced for several other charges, including indecent exposure and providing liquor to a person younger than 21, Connolly said.
The charges were in connection with incidents involving a number of victims on a single day in Northbridge. He was arraigned on those charges July 12, 2005.
He was sentenced to six years to six years and a day and was placed on lifetime community parole immediately because he had served 2,054 days in jail while awaiting sentencing, Connolly said.
The plea agreement was struck, in part, because corroborating witnesses failed to come forward, Connolly said.
He was also required to register as a sex offender as a condition of his parole.
