Sex Offender Faces Hearing to Revoke Parole
Addeo returns to state and awaits a hearing.

Brian Addeo, the Grafton sex offender who cut off his monitoring bracelet and fled to Maine, faces a mandatory six months in prison for his parole violation, Executive Office of Public Safety spokesman Terrel Harris said today.
Addeo, 32, was returned from Maine to the Worcester County House of Correction in West Boylston over the weekend, Harris said.
The state Parole Board will now schedule a hearing, known as a final revocation hearing, to revoke his parole officially, Harris said.

The case is continued to May 11.
Addeo was ordered to wear the GPS monitoring bracelet as a condition of parole, which he was granted April 29, 2010.
On that date, he pled guilty to a series of charges, including three counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 and four counts of statutory rape of a child.
A plea deal was accepted, the district attorney's office said, in part because no witnesses were willing to come forward.
He was credited with time served since his 2005 arraignment and released on lifetime community parole, which requires him to register as a sex offender and to wear a monitoring bracelet at all times.
State Police said he removed the bracelet in Tewksbury earlier in the month. This triggered a regional manhunt before Addeo was captured in Augusta, Maine March 16.
