The total cost increased since May Town Meeting from $254,385 to $254,424.
The town’s share of the purchase price is $119,859. This is an increase from the price of $119,841 allocated at the spring town meeting.
Article 2 requests that the town raise and appropriate $251,414 and transfer $110,000 from available funds to finance the town’s share of the purchase of a new roof for Grafton High School.
Since the May Town Meeting, the total estimated cost of the project has increased from $233,140 to $361,414.
The town’s share of the cost has increased from $109,832 to $170,262.
The increase reflects a revised cost estimate.
Article 3 requests the town pay $69,055 to fund the principal and interest cost incurred by the Blackstone Valley Vocational School District.
This article was approved in May, but a procedural error occurred. The vote requires a 2/3rd majority.
