Teens Reach Out to Help Japan

• • Whiz Kid Name: Student Council
  • Whiz Kids School/Church/Community Center:  Grafton High School 
  • Whiz Kids Accomplishment: The members of the Grafton High School Student Council have decided to make raising money for Japanese relief our spring service project. Their goal is to join with the community to rally support for the people who truly need it right now. Donations are due to the high school by April 22.
  • Whiz Kids Key to Awesomeness: By working with UNICEF, they are ensuring that proceeds go to people in need of support. 

Know a great kid worthy of recognition? Each week, Grafton Patch will seek suggestions from readers for individual  kids, youth groups, teens, and even sports teams that wow us with their accomplishments. 

We want to hear about these amazing children and teens and select one each week as the Patch Whiz Kid.
