Two to Five Inches of Snow Possible

It’s no Halloween prank: A winter storm watch has been issued by the National Weather Service.

Two to five inches of heavy, wet snow could fall from late Saturday into early Sunday.

With leaves still on the trees during this unusually early storm, branches could break and power outages are possible, the service reports.

Strong low pressure will move just south and east of southern New England from late Saturday into early Sunday and move into the Canadian maritimes Sunday.
