US Terror Alert Happens While North Grafton Resident's Parents Flying Here

"This terror alert is not that I want to see while my parents are on the flight from Amsterdam to Boston right now," Anna Howard said.

North Grafton resident Anna Howard was preparing to head to Boston's Logan International Airport on Friday when US officials issued a terror alert.

Howard said her parents, Zilfira and Eduard Arustamov, were flying here from Moscow to visit her and her family for three weeks.

"This terror alert is not that I want to see while my parents are on the flight from Amsterdam to Boston right now," Howard said.

The Arustamovs left Amsterdam unaware of "the terror alert yet which is not a bad thing I suppose," she said.

"Incidentally, they left from the same airport where (National Security Agency leaker Edward) Snowden was living for a month," Howard said.

Howard said Logan Airport was "business as usual" when she met her parents Friday night.
