What We Learned This Week

Here are some things we learned this week:

Two Guys That Love to Talk _ Bill Robidoux and Rick Schultze _ are ending their show as of Dec. 21. We learned why, and where they are going from here.

Another Special Town Meeting in December? Selectmen considered putting a townwide energy-savings project on the warrant, but questioned whether there was ample time and information.

Break-ins are on the increase in town, Police Chief Normand A. Crepeau Jr. reported. He shared some ways to secure your home.

On the lighter side, a scarecrow-building event will be held Saturday, Oct. 22 at the Common to decorate for the holidays.

And oh, yes, there was a library vote this week. By a two-vote margin, Town Meeting voters approved theexpansion plan. Now the issue goes to a ballot vote Dec. 13.
