Woman Guilty of Trying to Strangle Mom

Kaitlin N. McQuiggan is placed on probation.

A Grafton woman was found guilty of assault and battery after she allegedly tried to strangle her mother, according to court documents.

Kaitlin N. McQuiggan, 25, of 12 Hudson Ave., Grafton, was found guilty by Judge Vito Virzi at Westborough District Court. She was placed on probation through April 23, 2013.

She was also ordered to attend an anger management program and to continue with mental health treatments.

As part of her sentence, she was also required to remain free of drugs and alcohol, subject to random tests. She was also ordered not to abuse the victim.

McQuiggan was intoxicated and disorderly when she was tried to strangle her mother, which led to the charges, the police report said.
