5 Things To Do This Weekend

You survived the week and now time for some fun. Close the laptop, turn off the television and check out all the fun things happening right in your own community or close by.

Here are 5 things to check out this weekend:

1. Epic -- Second to twelfth grade students will perform Homer’s epic tale, 'The Odyssey' Friday night at 6 p.m. at the   in Hamilton. Tickets available in advance and at door.

2. Celebrate Dad -- Don't forget that Sunday is all about dad! Take your kids to the  Saturday from 11 a.m. to noon for stories and crafts in honor of Father's Day. 

3. Moo Moo -- Bring the kids (ages 5 and up) to , 1100 Bay Rd, South Hamilton from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday to learn about the dairy operation. Visit with calves, explore the pastures and meet the milkers in the dairy barn during milking. These activities are ordinarily closed to the public except for one time per month. 

4. Dine with Dad --   is offering a special brunch menu and an afternoon honoring fathers starting at 10 a.m. Sunday. 

5. Show Tunes -- Broadway In The Park" with local performers will take the stage at Saturday's open air concert series at Patton Park. Grab your lawn chair and head to  at 5 p.m.
