5 Things You Need to Know This Week in Hamilton-Wenham
From deadlines to special events to helpful hints, here's a snapshot of what you need to know in the week ahead.

- Flu clinic. The Hamilton and Wenham boards of health are holding a second free flu clinic on Wednesday, Nov. 18. The clinic is open to any resident ages 4 and up and will take place from 3-6 p.m. at the Hamilton Senior Center.
- Household hazardous waste disposal. Bring your hazardous waste to the Hamilton DPW on Saturday, Nov. 21 for disposal. Check out additional info, including a fee schedule, here.
- Hydrant flushing. The process is expected to conclude on Nov. 17 in Wenham. For more info on the process, check out this article.
- Joint school committee, FinCom meeting. On Wednesday, Nov. 18, the Hamilton-Wenham School Committee will meet with the finance committees of both towns to the goals of “a great school system, at an affordable price.” Check out the agenda here. The meeting will take place in the multipurpose room at Buker Elementary.
- International Games Day. The Hamilton-Wenham Public Library will celebrate International Games Day with a variety of tabletop games to choose from between the hours of noon and 3 p.m. Teens and adults are invited to stop by the Local History room upstairs for Settlers of Catan, chess, King of Tokyo, Bananagrams and others. Children’s games will be offered in the children’s room.
