Academic, Sports Honors for Hamilton, South Hamilton Residents

A couple of Hamilton and South Hamilton residents are receiving praise for academic and sports accomplishments at their respective schools:

South Hamilton resident Ethan Cannon, a sophomore Television, Radio, Media Production major in the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College, was inducted into the Oracle Honor Society on Nov. 2, 2015. Students who maintain a GPA in the top 10 percent of all students in their school throughout their first full academic year are invited into the society.

Emily Carrigan of Wenham recently received the Coaches’ Award for the Cross Country team at Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall School in Waltham. The award was presented during the recent Fall Athletics’ Awards Night.
