Annual Hazardous Waste Disposal Day Coming Sept. 19

Hamilton and Wenham residents can bring their household hazardous waste for disposal on Sept. 19 behind Hamilton Town Hall.

Drop-off hours are from 9 a.m.-noon and all fees must be paid by check made payable to Town of Hamilton.

The fees for dropping off items are as follows:

• $46.50 for up to 25 gallons or 25 pounds.
• $24 for up to 10 gallons or 10 pounds
• $1 per can of Latex paint (reminder, latex paint ISN’T hazardous. You can dry it out and dispose of it in your normal trash)
• $10 per empty propane tank (large or small)
