Body Found on Tracks Cancels, Delays Trains
One MBTA commuter rail train was cancelled and others are expected to be delayed on the North Shore due to busing on Wednesday.

A body found on the railroad tracks in Newbury on Wednesday morning has caused delays and busing for the MBTA commuter rail on the North Shore.
Train 164, which left at 9:30 a.m. from Newburyport, was cancelled. The MBTA said that riders will be bused between Newburyport and Ipswich and other inbound trains on Wednesday will be delayed.
The T described the problem as a “medical emergency,” but on Twitter several people said that a body was found on the tracks near Hay Street in Newbury at about 9:45 a.m. It was not immediately known whether a train had struck a person or the body ended up on the tracks in another way.
