Boston Magazine School Rankings: See Where Hamilton Finished

HAMILTON-WENHAM, MA — Boston Magazine has released their rankings of the best public high schools.

Using data from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Boston Magazine's team compiled the best public schools that are within, or partially within, I-495.

Hamilton-Wenham finished 41st out of the 149 schools that were ranked. The rankings were determined by factors such as SAT scores, student-teacher ratios, graduation rates, according to the magazine.

Who did the best according to Boston Magazine? Acton-Boxborough Regional high school came in at number one. Here's how Hamilton's neighboring communities ranked:

• Manchester Essex Regional High School ranked No. 32
• Danvers High School ranked No. 78
• Beverly High School ranked No. 92
