Coronavirus Case Pushes Hamilton-Wenham High Classes Virtual
The school is switching to remote learning for two weeks due to staff shortages after several teachers had to quarantine.
HAMILTON-WENHAM, MA — Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School had a positive COVID-19 case reported on Wednesday afternoon.
The school said the close contacts of the person infected were notified, but they included several staff members. Since the staff members and those deemed close contacts have to quarantine for 14 days, the school is short-staffed and will switch to all remote-learning until Nov. 19.
The school plans on going back to hybrid learning once the quarantine period is over.
