The town is seeking volunteers for the Longmeadow Study Committee, which will evaluate properties for possible town uses.

HAMILTON, MA – The Town of Hamilton is looking for volunteers for the Longmeadow Study Committee to help evaluate properties on Longmeadow Way for town uses.

According to the Town of Hamilton blog, the committee was created at the Town Meeting in April, and will study the acquisition of four pieces of land on Longmeadow Way for their potential for municipal use. The committee is expected to report its findings at the 2018 Annual Town Meeting, or an earlier town meeting if needed.

The committee will include a selectman from Hamilton and Wenham, a member of the Hamilton-Wenham Recreation Board, a member of the School Committee, and at least one resident from each town.
