Hamilton Town Hall to Close for Funeral of Fire Chief's Wife
Helena Stevens died on Tuesday after a brief illness.

Hamilton Town Hall will be closed for two hours Friday to allow staff to attend the funeral services for Helena Stevens, Fire Chief Phil Stevens’ wife.
According to the Town of Hamilton blog, town hall will be closed from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 22.
Helena Stevens died Tuesday Jan. 19 in the Beverly hospital following her brief illness. She was 70 years old.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 22, at 11 a.m. in the First Baptist Church, 221 Cabot Street, Beverly. Family and friends are respectfully welcomed. Visiting hours are Thursday from 4-7 p.m. in the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High Street, Ipswich.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Hamilton Fire Dept. Relief Association, 265 Bay Road, South Hamilton, MA 01982 or the Hamilton Foundation, c/o Town Hall, P.O. Box 429, Hamilton, MA 01936.
