The Hamilton-Wenham girls’ field hockey team lost a tough battle to Manchester Essex Wednesday.
The final score of 0-4 doesn’t fully explain the excellent defensive game played by the Generals, according to coach Jennifer Blaha.
Senior captain goal tender Madeline Werner recorded more than 15 saves in the net. Sophomore Taylor Woodbury also played a strong defensive game.
