Hamilton-Wenham Volleyball Earns Another Win

The Generals took on Saugus Monday.

The Hamilton-Wenham volleyball team is on a roll.

After dropping its first match, the girls have won each of their ensuing matches. Most recently, the Generals topped Saugus 3-0 (25-22, 25-13, 25-22) in a Monday afternoon match.

According to coach Jennifer Flynn, sophomore outside hitter Lauren Flynn got 24 serves in and added 10 kills and nine digs.

Sophomore outside setter Tori Vivenzio added 14 assists and four serving aces. Shauna Mancinelli and Eva Vredenburge each served 100 percent.

The team is next in action at North Reading Tuesday. The junior varsity match starts at 4 p.m. and the varsity team takes the court at 5:30 p.m.
