Leaf Pickup Happening This Week in Hamilton, Wenham

Hamilton and Wenham will this week be making the rounds to collect those lovely leaves that have now become soggy brown piles on the ground.

In Wenham, the second (and final) loose-leaf pickup will begin on Wednesday, Nov. 18 on Maple Street at the Danvers town line. The route will continue through town and conclude by Dec. 12.

If needed, the town will conduct at bagged leaf pickup in Wenham on Wednesday, Dec. 23. If there’s significant snowfall that impedes that pickup, bagged leaves will be collected in the spring.

In Hamilton, the town will make its first of two leaf pickups on Saturday, Nov. 21. All leaves must be in biodegradable bags or trash cans and must be curb-side by 7 a.m.

The second leaf pickup in Hamilton will take place on Dec. 12.
