This Little Piggy Went All The Way Home: Police
A 1,000 lb pig who lost his way got a police escort, courtesy of Georgetown Police.

GEORGETOWN, MA – Georgetown Police Officer Henry Olshefsky was picturing a small animal when he got a call for a loose pig in a yard on Birch Tree Drive. Instead, he found a male pig, approximately 1,000 lbs.
Olshefsky didn't find the pig immediately when he responded around 11 a.m., so he looking around the neighborhood for the loose animal. He found the pig in a driveway on Long Hill Road, hanging out next to a Frisbee.
Olshefsky guided the pig down the street and onto Red Pine Way in Rowley, where the pig ran toward a farm he recognized as home. The homeowner said the pig had broken out of his pen earlier.

"When I first got this call I thought I was going to be dealing with a small pig, but after seeing him, I realized I was dealing with a giant animal," said Olshefsky. "Thankfully, I was able to easily direct him back home while in my cruiser, where he seemed happy to be."
