Local Theater Program's Gala Coming Sept. 19

The Community House’s resident theater program, Stage284, has grown and thrived since 2008, building a high quality theater program with top-notch performances throughout the year. Many actors, and most of our audience members, return time and time again. Celebrate with us on Saturday, September 19, 7-10pm at our Gala Event featuring live musical entertainment, appetizers, cash bar, silent auction and raffle. This event will help to raise funds in support of our theater lighting fund and current season.

Stage 284 is thrilled to welcome award-winning recording artist and composer, Jared Mason of Hamilton. Jared most recently starred on Broadway in ‘Million Dollar Quartet’ as Jerry Lee Lewis. He will be performing numbers from the show. Jared has toured internationally with the Percussion Sensation, ‘STOMP’. His debut album, “She Believes In Me” won Album of the Year at the Los Angeles Music Awards.

Emcee for the evening will be actor, director and producer, John Budzyna of Newburyport. John was last seen here in Stage 284’s production of ‘Sound of Music’. His other acting roles include ‘A Christmas Carol’ (Dick Wilkins/Ensemble) at North Shore Music Theater, Little Shop of Horrors’ (Seymour), ‘Bye Bye Birdie’ (Albert) and ‘Godspell’ (Jesus) at Firehouse Center for the Arts.

Delight in just a spoonful of Stage 284’s upcoming production of Mary Poppins with a performance by actors John Manning (Bert) and Jocelyn Duford (Mary Poppins).

Never Say Never Gala performers include Brian Doser (Wenham), Diane diSanto (Hamilton), Myriam Cyr, Janet Glasser and Greg Warwick (Beverly), Jay Pension, Ashley Walker and Katie Clarke ( Danvers), David Draper and Hannah Lynn Mell (Rowley), Patricia Peterson Jamison and Stephen Jamison (Topsfield), Rebecca Axelrod (Essex), Jocelyn Duford (Salem, NH), John Manning (Westford), Antanas Meilus (Malden), Zack Reardon (Salem), Becky Rush (Pembroke) and Jocelyn Duford (Salem, NH). Musical accompaniment will be performed by Jim Coyle, Grant Smith, Derek von Wormer and Wayne Ward.

Never say Never Gala - Performances at The Community House 284 Bay Road Hamilton, MA on Saturday, September 19 at 7:30pm. Advance Tickets are $40.00 for table seating and $25 for general admission.
