Multi-Million Dollar Hamilton Estate to be Auctioned with No Minimum Bid
A Hamilton home assessed at more than $2 million is being auctioned off on Tuesday.

A multi-million dollar estate on Essex Street in Hamilton will auctioned off on Tuesday with no minimum bid and no reserve price.
The auction is being conducted by Heritage Auctions, the world’s third largest auction house, which has publicizing the auction across the North Shore with small roadside signs.
The home has been on the market for more than a year, listed for as much as $3.2 million and later lowered to $2.8 million.

The home has 7,795 square feet of living space with 18 rooms that “features a gracious and open floor plan with seamless flow to the outdoors from nearly every room, according to the auction description. The home sits on a 2.42 acre lot that is described as a “lush, grassy expanse, interspersed with stately mature hardwoods.” Inside there are five bathrooms with seven full bathrooms and two half-bathrooms. The home, built in 1996, also has a five car garage.
It has most recently been assessed at $2.179 million and has an annual tax bill of $37,921.

Only registered bidders will be able to attend the auction and big. Registrations will be accepted through 1 p.m. on Tuesday. There will not be any online bidding.
