Re-Test of Hamilton Well Comes Back Negative for e.Coli
A Hamilton well tested positive for e.Coli last week; that well has now tested clean.

Follow-up tests on a well in Hamilton have come back negative for e.Coli.
The follow-up testing was conducted after raw, untreated water from the well tested positive for e.Coli on Jan. 6, DPW Director Bill Redford told the Town of Hamilton blog. Hamilton residents’ water is treated prior to coming to their homes; that water was never in jeopardy. Furthermore, the School Street well was already an offline well.
Since additional samples came back negative, no additional action is needed.
