Roadways Continually Cleared After Storms

The following activity for the Hamilton Police and Fire Department comes from the Hamilton-Wenham Emergency Center log for Friday, June 10 through Monday, June 13.

Friday, June 10

1:11 a.m. A fire alarm went off on Sagamore Street.

7:06 a.m. A theft from a motor vehicle was reported on Echo Cove Road.

7:20 a.m. Police helped direct school traffic.

8 a.m. Throughout the morning hazards were removed from Asbury Street, Bay Road, Woodbury Street, Maple Street and Highland Street following the storm the night before.

11:05 a.m. A suspicious motor vehicle was reported on Willow and Linden streets.

2:34 p.m. Police received a 911 hang-up or misdial.

3:02 p.m. The Fire Department responded to Bay Road.

5:53 p.m. An animal was reported on Bay Road.

9:37 p.m. Police transported someone from Beverly Hospital to the Police Station.

Saturday, June 11

1:21 a.m. Police pulled over a car on Miles River Road and Bridge Street.

7:03 a.m. Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Bay Road.

10:45 a.m. Community policing was conducted on Walnut Road.

1:05 p.m. There was an ambulance call to Bay Road.

2 p.m. Police helped control traffic on Bay Road.

2:22 p.m. An alarm went off on Walnut Road.

5:52 p.m. Police pulled a car over at Bay Road and Manor Hill Road. A warning was issued.

6:22 p.m. Police pulled a car over at Woodbury Street and Partridgeberry Lane. A citation was given.

8:28 p.m. Suspicious activity was reported in

Sunday, June 12

1:46 a.m. A motor vehicle was stopped at the Gulf Station.

9:29 a.m. The Fire Department responded to Rowell Avenue in Beverly for a two-alarm fire. 

3:49 p.m. Police responded to an animal call on Blueberry Lane.

9:16 p.m. DPW removed a hazard from the road on Moulton Street.

11:27 p.m. DPW removed a hazard from the road at Sagamore Street and Juniper Road.

Monday, June 13

7:21 a.m. Police helped direct school traffic on Bay Road.

7:43 a.m. Hazards were reported in the roadway on Bay Road.

10:05 a.m. Threats were investigated on Ortins Road.

11:05 a.m. Police pulled over a vehicle in Wenham Square.
