Storm Contains Hail, 40 mph Wind

Hail and strong winds are part of a storm moving through Hamilton and Wenham on Saturday afternoon.

The storm moving through Hamilton and Wenham on Saturday afternoon has contained nickel size hail and wind gusts up to 40 miles per hour, according to alert from the National Weather Service.

The storm was headed east at 40 miles per hour at 3:50 p.m. and was expected to move across Cape Ann by 4:15 p.m. on Saturday.

“Get indoors when this storm approaches,” the weather service said. Winds may be strong enough to produce minor damage, such as downed branches.”
