A Thank You Note to Appleton Farm: HWRHS Wellness Classes

To Whom It May Concern:

On behalf of my Grade 11 Wellness class I want to thank Appleton Farms for providing us with a wonderful learning experience. On our recent field trip to Appleton Farm we heard about the history of the farm, practiced yoga by the great field and helped the farm when we stacked wood for the winter. We also want to thank the farm for providing us with a “surprise” bag of food. The HWRHS kitchen staff prepared the food for our “feast” so we could sample a variety of products grown on the farm.

We are fortunate to have such a great resource as Appleton Farms only a walk away from the high school.

Thank you again for the educational opportunity we received while navigating beyond the walls of the school.
