Thick Fog to Drop Visibility Wednesday Morning
The thick fog will slow down commuters on Wednesday morning but will lift and clear out by mid-morning.

Thick fog is setting over Hamilton and Wenham on Wednesday morning and drivers are warned to be aware of reduced visibility.
A dense fog advisory was issued at about 5:30 a.m. and runs until 10 a.m.
Visibility will be as low as a quarter mile but will imrpove by mid-morning, the weather service said.

The dense fog advisory covers all of the North Shore and southern New Hampshire.
“Poor visibility will make for difficult travel during the morning commute (Wednesday,” the National Weather Service said. “Motorists are advised to slow down as objects on and near roadways will be seen only at close range.”

Specifically, the weather service noted drivers on Routes 3, 93 and 95 and 495 should slow down in the fog and “be sure to leave extra distance between other vehicles and allow extra time to reach your destination.”
