Voter Registration Deadlines Approaching in Hamilton

To vote in the special fall town meeting, Hamilton residents have to register today.

HAMILTON, MA – The deadline to vote in the special town meeting is today, Wednesday. The Hamilton Town Clerk's office will be open until 8 p.m.

The registration deadline to vote in the November general election is Wednesday, Oct. 19. Those who have never been registered to vote in Hamilton, and those who will turn 18 before the town meeting or the general election will need to register if they want to vote. Filling out the registration form will only take a few minutes, and requires either the last four digits of your Social Security number, or a driver's license number.

The Town Clerk's office will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19 for registration.

The fall Special Town Meeting will be held on Saturday, Oct. 22, at 9 a.m. at Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School and the general election will be held at the Hamilton-Wenham Community Center (next to Hamilton-Wenham Public Library) at 16 Union St. on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
