Water Main Break Cuts Service to Hamilton Neighborhood

A neighborhood near Chebacco Lake in Hamilton is without water on Thursday because of a water main break, according to the Hamilton Water Department.

The broken water main was a primary line on Forest Street. Home in the area will be without water “for several hours if not the better part of the day,” town officials said. Affected homes are on Forest, Village, Birch and Beech street, Lakeshore Avenue and Darly Way.

“Thank you for your patience while the Water Department is repairing the line,” said a Connect-CTY message sent out on Thursday morning.
