Wenham Fire Chief Will Receive Award for Community Service

Seniorcare will recognize Wenham Fire Chief Robert Blanchard later this month for his years of community service.

SeniorCare, a nonprofit whose mission is to provide services for elders that allow them to live independently at home or wherever they choose to live, will present Blanchard with the Myra L. Herrick Outstanding Older American Award for “his significant community service efforts over the years,” according to a report from Town Administrator Peter Lombardi.

The award will be given during the organization’s annual meeting and awards dinner in Gloucester on Thursday, Sept. 24.
