Wind Advisory Issued Ahead of Coastal Storm

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory ahead of a storm expected to strike coastal Massachusetts and extending inland to Hamilton and Wenhma late Tuesday and into Wednesday.

The wind advisory is in effect from 1 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday. During that time, sustained winds of 20-30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph could down small tree limbs and branches and cause power outages along coastal Massachusetts.

Additionally, minor coastal flooding is possible during high tide Wednesday morning.
