• Hanson ambulance and car collide, 2 children pried from sedan (patriotledger.com) — A Hanson Fire Department ambulance collided with a sedan in neighboring Whitman Tuesday night, sending two children, the sedan’s driver, and two Hanson firefighters to local hospitals for evaluation. Firefighters used hydraulic tools to free the children from the heavily damaged car, and officials say the ambulance, which was returning equipment from Brockton Hospital, was still drivable as the crash remains under investigation.
