BOND, a regional construction management firm to the institutional markets and self-performing general contractor to the power and energy industry, is pleased to announce that Hingham resident Ken Johnson has joined the company as Project Executive. His addition allows BOND to expand its delivery of premier construction services in anticipation of the company’s foreseeable growth in the academic market.
Johnson brings more than 30 years of experience in both the public and private sectors to BOND. His career includes leadership positions at the Massachusetts Port Authority, where he managed the $3.4 billion Logan International Airport Modernization Program over a seven-year period, and Harvard University, where he oversaw the Allston Development Initiative. Throughout his time at Harvard, he coordinated the delivery of major capital projects as part of academic and planning activities within a five-year rolling capital plan. Notable projects include the renovation and expansion of the Harvard Art Museums, construction of the Riverside Graduate Housing, and Athletics reconstruction.
Prior to these two leadership roles, Johnson held positions with ICF Kaiser Engineers, providing owner representative services on the Boston Harbor Project and Stone and Webster, City of Quincy; and Shaughnessy Companies.
